The Black (or 'Nika') berets are the standard ("one-size-fits-all") head size and a diameter of 30cm/11.8"; the Navy, Brown, Maroon and Green berets have a larger head-opening, catering especially for customers with head sizes of 59 and over and a 32cm/12.6" diameter. These berets are extremely comfortable and soft, easy to shape and -due to the large diameter- great for protection from the sun. Though well over 100 grams each, the berets feel light and are excellent for use in warmer weather. .Unknown.jpg) The hei-tiki is an ornamental pendant of the Māori which is worn around the neck. Hei-tiki are usually made of pounamu which is greenstone, and are considered a taonga (treasure). They are commonly referred to as tiki, a term that actually refers to large human figures carved in wood, and, also, the small wooden carvings used to mark sacred places.
