It all started mid 2008, when I was searching for information about the Basque Beret and found little available in English. Everything I found was in French or Spanish.

I decided it was time to fill the gap and write a book in English on the Beret.

Along came a blog, 'The Beret Project'. It didn't take long to discover that I wasn't the only person fascinated by this humble piece of headgear.

I discovered thousands of people from literally all over the world were interested in the beret and keen to find out more - including where to buy quality berets.

I wanted to share my passion for this headgear and let more people enjoy the pleasure of wearing a traditionally made quality beret. 

South Pacific Berets was born specialising in Boinas Elosegui berets from Spain and Espinosas and Tolosas from Argentina.
